Tropical, refreshing, and ready in 5 minutes
These pineapple mint cubes bring instant freshness to your water, iced tea, or cocktails. The pineapple adds natural sweetness, the mint keeps it cool and crisp.
What you need
- 1 cup fresh pineapple chunks
- 1 handful fresh mint leaves
- 1/2 cup water or coconut water
- Optional: a squeeze of lime
How to make it
- Roughly chop the pineapple into chunks
- Wash the mint leaves
- Blend pineapple, mint, and water until smooth
- Add lime juice if using
- Pour into ice cube trays
- Freeze for at least 4 hours
Why this works
No cooking, no added sugar. The pineapple is sweet enough on its own. Drop a cube into sparkling water for instant flavor, or add to smoothies for a tropical boost.
Practical tip: Use ripe pineapple for maximum sweetness. If your pineapple is too tart, add a tiny bit of honey before blending. Fresh mint works best, but you can use less if the flavor is too strong for you.
