These chocolate chip oat bars combine wholesome oats with chocolate for the perfect balance.
Ingredients
- 200g rolled oats
- 100g butter
- 75g honey
- 50g light brown sugar
- 100g chocolate chips
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Method
- Preheat oven to 180°C (160°C fan)
- Line a 20cm square tin with baking paper
- Melt butter, honey, and sugar in a pan
- Remove from heat, stir in oats, vanilla, and salt
- Fold in chocolate chips (save some for topping)
- Press into tin, sprinkle remaining chips on top
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden
- Cool completely before cutting
Batch Baking
